Spring Potato

What's the current most popular snack in Malaysia?..at almost every "Pasar Malam", "Pasar Tani", carnivals, fiestas, expos, tourist attraction spots, mini market, shopping complex and almost any where when there're food stalls..you can see it..it has become a phenomena..

Uneven size (I used big potatoes which I cut into 2, 4 and even 6 pieces)

What is that?...SPRING POTATO.. yup..potatoes that are being cut into spiral and stick through a bamboo or any wooden stick, deep in tempura or frying flour and deep fried. Put onto it some mayonnaise and chilly sauce... crunchy, yummy and a mouth watering snack that everyones seemto patiently wait in queue to grab a stick of Spring Potato flavours of their own choices, that may cost you RM2.50 to RM3.50 per stick.

After reading an entry in my friend's blog Pinatbate Alwan about her homemade Spring Potato.. I've decided to take up the challange and do it on my own for my kids to taste...Wow! Such a marvelous experience..I've made it on my first attempt..If I can do it..you can do it too...

The Impact of "The "F" Word" Programme by Chef Gordon Ramsay

Credit should be given to Chef Gordon Ramsay and his programme "The F Word". Having a passion in cooking especially in chocolate making, mommy has by all mean search for the "Churros" recipe (with 'Ariff's help who remembered the name of the dish) and successfully made it. Abah lend his helping hand in mixing the dough, since mommy's mixture is out of order. The taste is wonderful and awesome especially when the "Churros" is dip into the finger licking chocolate ganache which is also handmade by mommy. With the thumbs up from the kiddos as the quality controller, mommy has decided to add in the "Churros" as one of the specialty in mommy's decorative homemade chocolate business.

After three projects that have started that show a good result..I know that I am on the right track..and the most important thing is I will make sure I won't stop...

`Ariff got 5As in his UPSR

Bravo!...`Ariff scored 5As in his UPSR...everyone in the family was there when the result is being announced by the teacher...`Ariff cried...feeling so happy and excited for the result...everybody was so happy on that day...

Few days later, as promised...`Ariff received his present from mummy....a laptop for him...good for him...but mummy reminded him not to misuse it....

Hope..his dream to become a scientist...will come true...
